Tour duration: 12 hours
Daytrip Belgian Ardennes in private eight seater
In the South of Belgium, between the city of Namur and the French border, the river Meuse flows through hills which offer, here and there, a rugged, windswept wilderness. Elsewhere, the gaze meets with thick forests and deep river valleys sprinkled with gorgeous villages. We visit the castles of Vèves and Freÿr, the gardens of Lavaux Saint-Anne and Annevoie, the citadels of Poilvache and Crèvecoeur. We have a stop in Dinant on the way back.
The region is also notable for its cuisine: game, wild boar, cheese and the world-famous Ardennes smoked ham and pâté. The abbey of Maredsous known for its beers is optional.
The tour can be customized; it is a proposal, open to questions, changes, remarks and suggestions. You will find me flexible on the day, both with regards to timing and contents.
My Volkswagen Caravelle has space of 7 passengers and their luggage. I have the required licenses and am insured to transport passengers.
